Dr Stella Sarlos is an endocrinologist at Monash Health and Peninsula Health and a clinical andrologist at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research. She studied Science at the University of Melbourne, where she also undertook her medical degree and PhD in the field of diabetic retinopathy. She trained in endocrinology at St Vincent’s Health Melbourne, Peninsula Health and undertook the Andrology Australia fellowship in 2013. In addition to clinical work, Dr Sarlos is an experienced educator with involvement in many aspects of clinical education. She recently completed a Master Clinical Education and is the Director of Clinical Training at Peninsula Health, the coordinator of the Monash University medical students at the Peninsula Clinical School and was the RACP specialist contractor tasked with drafting the curriculum for Advanced Training in Endocrinology. Her current research interests include the clinical relationship of opiates with androgens and learning design and innovations in clinical education.
