A/Prof Jun Yang is a Consultant Endocrinologist and a Research Fellow at Monash University and Hudson Institute. She graduated from Monash University with a MBBS (Hon) in 2001, obtained the FRACP in 2010 and completed her PhD on coregulators of the mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) with Professor Peter Fuller, Dr Morag Young and Dr Colin Clyne in 2013. She has continued basic and clinical research in the field of MR-driven cardiovascular disease, in particular, primary aldosteronism. She established the Endocrine Hypertension Service at Monash Health and collaborates both nationally and internationally to improve the detection and understanding of primary aldosteronism.
